payment
cheque
Cheques should be in pounds sterling and made payable to C. Derrick. Your order will be dispatched once the cheque has cleared and that you have been notified that your order has been accepted.
bank transfer
Payment may be made by bank transfer, once your order has been received you will be given instructions as to how to make the bank transfer
We accept bank transfers from overseas.
credit/debit card and paypal
Payment online by credit/debit card and PayPal is accepted. Credit/debit card payments are securely processed by PayPal and currency conversion is automatic so payments may be made from most countries and bank accounts worldwide. Paypal has a very high level of security, customer privacy and protection, all transactions are performed over maximum security SSL encryption and your card/bank details are not stored or made available to us in any way.
delivery
We normally deliver by Royal Mail; occasionally others for large works and we endeavour to have the goods arrive within 7 days of order confirmation, but please allow a maximum of 30 days for delivery.
We can deliver overseas, but please be aware that delivery time may be longer and certain conditions may apply. Please contact us if you have any queries.
cancellation/refunds
You may cancel your order for any reason up to 14 days after you receive the goods (the statutory minimum is 7 days). Notice of cancellation should be sent to - cancellations must be received in writing. Goods must be returned in the original condition and shipped at your cost. The goods must be securely wrapped and packaged before shipping in the original packaging or similar equivalent. Once the returned goods have been received and checked, you will be issued a full refund, usually via the same payment method used for purchase (e.g. paypal refund, cheque etc.).

Most works can be delivered overseas, unless specifically stated in the description of the art.
Delivery within the UK for smaller pieces is usually by Royal Mail . I may use a different courier for larger works based on weight and size.
Pastel work is normally sold unframed. The artwork is packed between protective paper and taped with rigid boards prior to final packaging; this prevents slippage and damage to the surface. Pastels have been posted overseas successfully using this method.
They can be sent framed but most couriers will not offer insurance for items with glass, therefore I would replace any glass with acrylic sheet.
